WELL, I DID IT!

Remember this SNOWFLAKE CEILING POST? I know all my followers (the two of you) have been waiting with baited breath to see what I would do.

Well, LOOK what I did.

I'm really pleased with the way it turned out.

I still can't figure out how to take good shots
of lights but you get the idea.

I'm still looking for some stars to add to the snowflakes but my
budget is thrift store or less, but don't you worry, I'll
find some somewhere.

Now on to some other project!

It's so enchanting. I think I'd leave that up all year. I have a pattern for 3D barn star stars made out of paper and glitter. I got it off the internet. They turn out really cute. Go to www.enchantedlearning.com/crafts/christmas/3dstar/startemplate.shtml I think you'll like them. Mimi

I looked up the star just to make sure that was the correct internet address. This one's better...go to
enchantedlearning.com then type in 3-D Star Ornament in the search area. It'll take you to the pattern. Mimi

After seeing the earlier post, I had a feeling that those branches might reappear on your ceiling!

Aren't thrift stores great? We have a neat "recycle" store near the apartment here in Japan. I love checking it out. Unfortunately, I have to be careful what I buy because I can't carry too much back to Canada!

Okay...you've outdone yourself with this one. When you first posted the other picture, I saved it to one of my folders. Now I will save your beautiful version to my files too. GREAT JOB!!!

Love it!!! I hung twinkly (is that even a word? LOL) snowflakes from the cross beam of my den last year and loved the effect.

This year I flocked my mantle garland and added the snowflakes instead. It definitely gave my Florida home a frosty feel to it :-)

Love all that you do here with your blog. We're kindred spirits for sure.

How neat! How did you attach everything to the ceiling?

This looks like a floral shop I visited many years ago. She even had trees reaching across the ceiling all decked out with Christmas ornaments. So beautiful.
Please share how you attached this. Thank you!
